Top five things to look for to make a parlay

There are many things that play into making a parlay. You want to look at the favorites, underdogs, value teams, locks, and over/under. Analyzing all of the above aspects will help you create the best parlay possible.

Favorites: First you are going to want to scroll through all the games and see who the favorites are. By this I mean look for which teams are supposed to win and pick a couple that should win. By doing so you are starting to gather a reason to understand why the team is favorited and this will help you make your final picks.

Underdogs: Once you have looked at the favorites it's time to look for teams that are supposed to lose, but have a good chance of winning. These are the teams that are underrated and are only seen as under dogs because they had a bad previous week or a player is injured. These teams create value because good teams could be seen as underdogs just because the team they are playing has a better record or is at home this week.

Value teams: These teams are teams that have odds that are no less than -150, this means that they pay out will be good if you add them to the parlay and they have a good chance to win. You want to add teams like this to your parlay because it will increase the odds by a lot since the game is basically a 50/50 to win. Finding good teams with odds like this can boost the value of your parlay and sometimes double or triple the amount of money you can win if your parlay hits.

Locks: These are teams with very high odds to win, making the return on just betting on them alone not worth it. By adding these teams to your parlay you can boost your odds and set yourself up to win an extra $20-30 on your bet. This doesn't seem like much, but these games are called "locks" because there is no way they will lose the game so they are only boosting your profits and are seen as low to no risk to bet on.

Over/Under: Over/Under is also a great way to boost parlays. If you are unsure about the teams in the game, but you know that their defenses are good and their offenses are bad, or vise versa you can bet on the over/under to boost your parlay value. The odds on the over/under are usually -110 which means it will boost your parlay pay out by a lot. It's a safe way to boost your parlay without having to root for a certain team, this way you will be rooting for great defense for a low score or great offense for a high score.

By combining all five of these aspects you will have the best chance to create a high value low risk parlay.
